The Tikehau atoll is known for being very fish-rich and offers anglers an incomparable space, whether for passionate enthusiasts or beginners.
Fishing can be done both inside the lagoon and in the surrounding ocean.
Our boats are equipped to allow you to practice different types of fishing, according to your choice, whether it's trolling in the ocean along the reef or in the often calmer lagoon waters.
The open ocean offers the chance to bring in large catches but requires covering more distance, while reef edges and the lagoon interior allow for encountering less imposing species that are just as interesting to the angler.
It is also possible to fish from a stationary spot near a rock or along the beaches, either with a handline or by casting. Saltwater fly fishing enthusiasts will find many fish-rich flats on Tikehau that we have mapped out for this activity (see our Fly Fishing Excursion).
Regardless of the option chosen, our pilot, who is also a good fisherman, will be able to guide you and help you have great fishing moments with a tailor-made and totally private program.

Additional information
Thank you for arriving 15 minutes before your pickup time at the meeting point. If you are staying at a hotel or guesthouse accessible by sea, pickup will be directly at your hotel's pontoon; otherwise, pickup is at the village dock.

Special requirements
- Given the risk of injuries from fishhooks and fishing equipment, children are allowed from the age of 5 (please consult us).

Cancellations
Cancellation policy:
Free cancellation up to 7 days before the scheduled tour time; a fee of 25% applies for cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour; a fee of 50% applies for cancellations less than 48 hours before the tour.
No refunds for same-day cancellations.
