Detailed description
The Tikehau atoll is known for being very fish-rich and offers anglers an incomparable space, whether for passionate enthusiasts or beginners.
Fishing is generally practiced inside the lagoon on flats that are spread across the 70 km circumference of the atoll.
The choice of flats is generally made based on the direction and strength of the wind for practicing in calmer waters. Since the lagoon is almost circular, there is practically always an area of the atoll that is protected from the wind and waves by the reef and coconut groves.
Very many species are accessible, ranging from different types of jacks to trumpetfish, large triggerfish, groupers, barracudas, and various species of coral fish. The Bonefish, on the other hand, is present in the atoll and offers superb specimens, but as the lagoon is quite deep, it rarely frequents the flats, preferring to stay in the deeper sandy bottoms. One should not come to Tikehau in the hope of catching many bonefish, but rather for the diversity of accessible species and the large number of fish encountered there.
Our boats are suitable for traveling through the lagoon as well as for easy access to shallow waters to reach the flats. We have been listing them for several years based on the experience gained from our visitors.
We do not provide fishing gear or flies.

Additional information
Thank you for arriving 15 minutes before your pickup time at the meeting point. If you are staying at a hotel or guesthouse accessible by sea, pickup will be directly at your hotel's pontoon; otherwise, pickup is at the village dock.

Special requirements
- Given the risks of injury with hooks and fishing gear, children are admitted from the age of 7.
Restrictions

- Fishing sites may be modified for safety reasons (currents, weather, etc.).

Cancellations
Cancellation policy:
Free cancellation up to 7 days before the scheduled tour time; a fee of 25% applies for cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before the tour; a fee of 50% applies for cancellations less than 48 hours before the tour.
Cancellations on the same day are not refunded at all.
